If you get a Duo push notification or phone call when you're not logging in to an NJIT service that means someone else is trying to log in with your NJIT UCID and password.
Stop unauthorized use of your account by tapping Deny in the Duo Mobile app or hang up the phone call if you did not initiate the request.
Duo will record whenever you deny a fraudulent Duo verification request.
If the problem is persistent call theNJIT IST Service Desk to report the issue.
This feature lets you authenticate with Duo just once a day for most NJIT services (per browser session or app, per device).
Just check the Remember Mefor 18 hours / 4 days checkbox on the Duo prompt. If that checkbox is grayed out or you're having other problems, please contact the NJIT IST Service Desk.
Don’t forget
You can still use Duo without Wi-Fi or cell service. Generate passcodes ahead of time or use your Duo hardware token.
Make it easier to reconnect a future phone with Duo. Enable Duo Restore Now.
Need a backup device for Duo? Need a backup device for DUO? Make sure to register at least one phone. That makes you eligible to receive a hardware token backup device.
If you are without service but don't have either the Duo Mobile app or a hardware token available, you can request an emergency temporary bypass code from the NJIT IST Service Desk.
