    This past July, the IST Service Desk transitioned back to on-campus support during regular business hours. Starting September 1 the IST Service Desk will be resuming 24/7 support for all technology related questions, problems, or requests.

    On-campus support will be available from 8am to 7pm, Monday through Friday. During these hours you will  be able to get assistance by:

  • Curriculum Inventory Management(CIM) Scheduled Maintenance – Sept 13th 2021 09/07/2021

    CIM will be unavailable on Sept 13th 2021 for scheduled maintenance.

  • VPN Update: Scheduled Maintenance and Update on Yesterday’s Outage 09/03/2021

    Scheduled Maintenance: NJIT’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) software will be unavailable on Saturday, September 4 from approximately 11:30 pm – 12:00 midnight. This scheduled outage will allow for software updates that will improve the reliability of VPN.

    VPN Outage: There were two VPN outages on Thursday, September 2. The first outage started at 12:46 pm and lasted 12 minutes before service was restored. While the root cause of the problem was being investigated a second longer outage resulted in VPN being unavailable intermittently from 2:12 pm – 3:20 pm . After working with the vendor it was determined that the scheduled maintenance, mentioned above, will prevent future problems.

  • Service Restored – Intermittent VPN Outage 9/2/2021 09/02/2021

    VPN Service was restored at 3:20pm. VPN was unavailable from 12:46pm-1pm and 2:12pm – 3:20pm.

    As of September 2, NJIT’s VPN service is experiencing intermittent outages. During this time VPN connections may timeout/fail. We are currently working on resolving the issue and will provide more information as it becomes available.
