All Freshmen in the School of Architecture and Sophomores in the School of Art + Design, as well as all transfer students in both Schools in the Hillier College, will need to have a computer to complete their work in the design studio and other classes. Specifications and pricing negotiations for this Fall 2022's supported computer platforms are in progress. More details and instructions will be communicated by the end of May. Vendor Partnerships
Students purchasing a computer through our vendor partnerships are entitled to robust hardware support provided through the Office of Digital Learning and Technology Support. Certified technicians can diagnose and repair OEM hardware issues at no additional cost so long as the warranty is current and active.
Software Bundle
All NJIT students are provided access to a software bundle including frequently-used Microsoft products, programming, design, and other tools. This bundle is provided at no additional cost.
