The Newark College of Engineering*, the Ying Wu College of Computing, and the Martin Tuchman School of Management require freshman and transfer students to have a personal laptop computer meeting or exceeding minimum specifications for use in and outside of the classroom.
Starting in the fall of 2021, the College of Science and Liberal Arts and the will require freshman and transfer students to have a personal laptop computer meeting or exceeding minimum specifications.
Students are responsible for ensuring their chosen computer meets or exceeds any requirements specific to their program.
* Chemical Engineering students are required to purchase a specific laptop.
