New Quizzes

Rich Content Editor (RCE) in New Quizzes

Moving forward, the Rich Content Editor (RCE) will be available in New Quizzes. This update completes phases one and two of the RCE integration within New Quizzes. For more information about the integration, please see Instructure's blog.

The feature addition will provide instructors with the ability to utilize the Accessibility Checker, add media recordings within New Quizzes, and allow for the use of the HTML editor for advanced users. The Math Editor will now be available within the RCE. Additionally, students will have the ability to record audio and video files within the RCE of a New Quiz.

Rich Content Editor (RCE) Updates

Drag & Drop or Paste Multiple Files

The Rich Content Editor (RCE) will now support drag & dropping or pasting multiple files. This change will allow users to quickly and more efficiently add files, such as images, into the RCE rather than uploading files one by one.

SpeedGrader

Additional Quick Links

This Canvas update improves the accessibility to SpeedGrader in various areas of Canvas. Links to open an item in SpeedGrader will now appear in the following areas:

  1. In the Assignments page, instructors may access SpeedGrader through an assignment's Options menu.

  2. In the Modules page, instructors may access SpeedGrader through an assignment's Options menu.

  3. In an assignment's landing page, instructors ma access SpeedGrader through the Options menu.

  4. In the Quizzes page, instructors may access SpeedGrader through a quiz's options menu.

  5. In the Build page of a New Quiz, instructors may access SpeedGrader using the Options menu in the top right corner.
