Digital Media Services

Digital Media Services (DMS) is here to assist with your advanced media needs. This can anything from creating an audio greeting for your students, recording learning objects, and archiving or streaming of a large conference. Some of these processes can be performed on your own or through our production facilities.  For those who wish to be more self-reliant, we frequently offer seminars as well as TLT (Teaching, Learning and Technology)  sessions covering many of the relevant topics and applications. If you still need one-on-one training, our staff is readily available.  Whether it is in support of instruction or a special event, DMS can guide you along every step of the way. Video Conferencing

DMS offers assistance in utilizing WebEx for live, synchronous communications with students and colleagues. Special events may also integrate one of these applications to broaden its audience.  

Special Event Support

Special events are archived in HD format with either a single or multi-camera configuration. A Tri-caster allows DMS to switch multiple inputs and create a live stream from most locations on campus. Each event is unique. Send an email to mtss@njit.edu to discuss your options in detail.

Studio Production

DMS has available a 26ft x 26ft studio with three HD cameras, teleprompter, and switching capabilities. This facility can be utilized for many different applications such as audio recording, webcasts, and high-end lecture capture. Send an email to mtss@njit.edu for more information and pricing.

Post Production

DMS utilizes Mac-based editing systems, with Adobe Premier and Final Cut Pro. They can produce podcasts, MP4s, DVDs, CDs, etc. Send an email to mtss@njit.edu for more information.
