Studio (0300 GITC)
ITMS has available a 26ft x 26ft studio with three HD cameras, teleprompter, and switching capabilities. This facility can be utilized for many different applications such as: audio recording; webcasts; high-end lecture capture; role playing setups; etc. Contact Jesse House, 973-596-6051 jesse.t.house@njit.edu for more information and pricing.
ITV Room (1403 GITC)
This room was designed with the purpose of conducting live two way sessions with a remote site(s). Some features of the room are:
- Seating capacity of 22, with 11 tables, that can be moved to accommodate specific instructional needs;
- A teacher’s podium with a PC & Visualizer
- Cisco Speaker Track Codec for video conferencing, which is fully compatible with WEBEX, NJIT’s videoconferencing application
- Smartboard allows for markups of PC images for face to face and remote students
CISCO Enhanced Classrooms (313 & 315 CKB)
This room was designed with the purpose of conducting live two way sessions with a remote site(s). Some features of the room are:
- Seating capacity of 35 (313 CKB) & 30 (315CKB), with individual tables & chairs, that can be moved to accommodate specific instructional needs;
- A teacher’s podium with connectivity for BYOD
- Multiple power sources for students to power their devices
- Cisco Codec & camera for video conferencing, which is fully compatible with WEBEX, NJIT’s videoconferencing application
- Smartboard allows for markups of PC images for face to face and remote students
Enhanced Lecture Hall (303 CKB)
This room was designed with the purpose of conducting media enriched lectures, as well as live two way sessions with a remote site(s). Some features of the room are:
- Seating capacity of 95 with some movable chairs for handicap accessability,;
- An instructor’s podium with connectivity for BYOD.
- Dual projection display.
- Multiple power sources for students to power their devices
- Cameras and in room PC for video conferencing, which is fully compatible with WEBEX, NJIT’s videoconferencing application
