Banner

Banner is the university’s primary administrative information system supporting business processes and electronic records across the university. 

Access to Banner is available through Highlander Pipeline (http://portal.njit.edu). Some services require supervisor approval.

Banner Student

Supporting the admissions, student records, financial aid, billing and student accounts receivable functions. Major integrations with Banner Student support processes for admissions applications (the Common App), student degree audit (Degree Works), course scheduling (Infosilem), international students and scholars (ISSM) and student payments (the TouchNet portal).    

Banner Finance

Supporting the accounting, accounts payable, budgeting, and procurement functions. Major integrations with Banner Finance support processes for travel and expense reporting (Chrome River) and travel planning (provided by Anthony Travel).

Finance Access Requests

Banner Human Resources

Supporting the employment and payroll functions of the university. Major integrations with the Banner Human Resources support processes for employee recruitment (Cornerstone) and employee performance appraisal.
