Creo 6.0 Installation

Before you install Creo you must connect to NJIT secure network by running NJIT VPN shown below. If you don't have a VPN service on your computer go to to install.

Click Connect and enter your UCID and Password

Click OK.


You are connected to the NJIT network. You can now download and install Creo on your computer. Follow the steps below to install and configure Creo.

1. Download Creo 5.0 file, unzip it to the destination folder and navigate to the installation folder. Locate and right-click setup.exe and select Run as administrator

2. The PTC Installation Assistant dialog box appears. Select Install new software and click Next.

3. Select I accept the software license agreement, check the checkbox below, and click Next

4. Under the License Summary section. Enter for Source. The installation will connect to the license server and Available is displayed under the Status box.

5. Be sure the status of your license server is Available. Click Next.

6. Click on Customize … button. 

7. Application Custom Setting dialog box appears. Note that Creo Direct is highlighted and check Direct Modeling Converter

8. Highlight Creo Layout.

9. Highlight Creo Parametric and check the ALL for Options, API Toolkits and Interface as shown below.

10. Highlight Creo Simulate and check the setting as shown below.  Click OK.

11. Optional: If you want to install Mathcad, check PTC Mathcad option as shown below. 


12. Click Install.

13. The installation in progress figures is shown below. 

14. Check both Public networks and Public networks. Click Finish to complete the installation.
