The Virtual Private Networking (VPN) service allows you to connect to the NJIT network from off-campus using the Internet Service Provider (ISP) of your choice.
VPN allows you to securely access NJIT network resources from anywhere at any time. NJIT supports Cisco Secure Client (Formally Cisco's AnyConnect) VPN, which is compatible with a wide variety of devices.
Installing Cisco Secure Client
All NJIT students, faculty, and staff can access and use Cisco Secure Client using their UCID.

Support and FAQs for Cisco Secure Client
Should I use Cisco Secure Client VPN all the time? No. The VPN is only needed when you are off-campus and need to access certain NJIT network resources, such as IST software downloads, Highlander AFS, Cognos reports, Infosilem, etc.
Is there a limit to how many devices can I use Cisco Secure Client on at the same time?
Users can have up to 3 devices connected simultaneously.
