Winter Session Information
As of January 3rd 2012, HelpDesk and ITMS resume normal office hours.
Support During the Winter Session
Please note that the IST Computing HelpDesk will be closed from December 24 – January 2. During that time, NJIT has provided the following guidelines to ensure that students, faculty, and staff are provided with support during the winter semester.
ITMS Office Availability
Instructional Technology and Media Services’ main office (GITC 0300) will be staffed on December 27- 30 from 8:30–4:30. If you have a problem with your classroom, or experience an equipment problem, give them a call at (973) 596-3005.
Student Moodle Support
All courses are now available on Moodle. Please attempt to login (http://moodle.njit.edu) before the winter semester begins, and make sure you can access your course. Please check with your instructor to see if and how they will be using Moodle for your course.
As always, a list of tutorials are available at http://moodle.njit.edu/tutorials/students/.
General Moodle Support: If you run into a problem please contact moodle.admin@njit.edu. A team of individuals will check for messages. Please keep in mind that some individuals will travel during the break. Please allow a 24 hour response time.
Faculty Moodle Support
On December 23, the Moodle administrator will verify the list of students enrolled in all courses against the registrar’s database. If for some reason a student does not appear in your Moodle course, do not wait for the automated process. Please attempt to manually add them.

iTunes U Support
If you experience any problems with iTunes U (http://itunes.njit.edu/), please contact itunes.admin@njit.edu. This email address should also be used for any faculty members with questions about iTunes U lectures.
General Computing Questions
For answers to general computing technology questions, please visit http://ist.njit.edu. There you will find several menus with links to support, FAQs and instructions for everyday computing at NJIT. You may also enter a question in the ASK NJIT section for instant automated support and links.
Password Resets
Password resets can be done via the self-service webpage at: http://mypassword.njit.edu. General information about password resets is available at http://ist.njit.edu/support/password/.
HelpDesk Service Requests
The IST Computing HelpDesk support line (973-596-2900) will be closed from December 24 to January 2. For winter session issues that are not resolved using one of the above suggestions, requests can be submitted via web form by visiting: http://ist.njit.edu/support/helpdesk.php and clicking on the “HelpDesk Service Request” link. These service requests will be periodically monitored from December 27 - 30.
Campus Center
The Campus Center will be closed from December 24 - January 2.
Please refer all questions and concerns about Winter Session to CAPE, Kupfrian Hall, Room 200, 973-596-2992. Office hours during the first week of Winter Session will be from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.
