Winter Session Information

* Winter Session 2015-2016 began on December 22, 2015 and concludes on January 15, 2016 *
With the new year here, all regular NJIT Technology Support Services are back in operation and available. Please contact the IST Helpdesk for technology support needs.

Support info below is for the Winter Break Week of 12/23/15 to 1/3/16 only:

This year winter session classes begin on December 22 and conclude on January 15.  There will be no classes from December 24-January 3. Normally, students that are experiencing problems are encouraged to call the help desk at (973) 596-2900.  Please be aware that the help desk will be closed from December 25 – January 3.  While there are no classes scheduled during that timeNJIT has put together the attached guidelines to ensure that Winter Session students are provided with support during this closure. We would encourage you to forward this to email all your students.

ITMS Offices

If you plan on using any of ITMS’ equipment or services (projector, laptop, etc). Please submit your request as usual at  Instructional Technology and Media Services’ main office (GITC 0300) will be closed from December 25th-January 3th.  If you are having a problem with your classroom or are experiencing an equipment problem give them a call at (973) 596-3005.

Moodle Support

If you are planning on using Moodle you should already have access to your course(s). We have started adding students so please feel free to email your class and ask them to verify that they are able to login and see your course.  As always, we have a list of tutorials that are available 24x7 at this link Moodle Tutorials

If you run into a problem please contact  We have a team of people that will be checking messages while the Help Desk is closed.  Please keep in mind that some of us will be traveling during the break so please allow for a 24 hour response time.

Camtasia Relay Support    

If you experience a problem using Camtasia Relay please contact before December 25th or after January 3rd.

Helpdesk Service Requests

973-596-2900 will not be staffed December 25 – January 3. For winter session issues not resolved using one of the above suggestions, problems can be submitted via web form by going to: and clicking on the “Report your issue online” link.  These service requests will be periodically monitored.
