8: How do I manage junk mail with Webmail by Google?
Your email will be "sanitized" by Google's spam filters. You cannot "turn off" Google's spam filter, but you may view and unmark messages as spam from the Spam label inside Webmail by Google.
For help with managing Junk mail with Webmail by Google, please visit the Webmail by Google Junk Mail Management Page.
Google Note: Do NOT enable any IMAP or POP3 junk mail filters in an email client. Gmail's spam filters also work in your IMAP client, and we recommend turning off any additional anti-spam or junk mail filters within your client. Your client's filter will attempt to download and classify all of your existing messages, which may slow down your client until the process is complete.
