Step 1

• Open Internet Explorer 7 or later version. (Go here if you are using IE6, Firefox or different browser)
• Type https://webvpn.njit.edu in the address field of your browser.
• If you receive a warning dialog box, click the option "Continue to this website (not recommended.)" to continue.

Step 2

• On the NJIT WebVPN Services page, enter your UCID and UCID password, then click the "Login" button

Step 4

• You may receive a Warning - Security dialog box. Check the box next to "Always trust content from this publisher" and click the "Run" button to continue.

Step 5

• At the Security Alert dialog box, click the "Yes" button to proceed.

Step 6

• You will receive a dialog box that states "You have logged in NJIT VPN service" after you entered a correct UCID and password. You must then click the "OK" button to proceed.

Step 7

• Please wait for WebVPN to extract the required files.

Step 8

• Click the "Close" button when prompted to continue. The Cisco VPN client icon will be automatically minimized into system tray..

 Disconnecting the VPN Client

• To disconnect from the VPN, double-click the Cisco VPN icon on your system tray and click the "Disconnect" button.
