Class management tools allow courses to utilize online tools through the Internet in a Virtual Classroom™.  Courses taken in an eLearning fashion rely on these tools in substitute of the physical classroom experience.  Many faculty members may use one of these tools in traditional "face-to-face" courses to compliment classroom activities.

Moodle

Moodle is an online course management system that enables remote web-based learning and supplements traditional classroom learning.

NJIT has a contract with Turnitin.com to offer faculty a method to check student papers online for possible plagiarism. (more info)

iTunes

With this service, you can use iTunes to get lectures, seminars and information about New Jersey Institute of Technology. Students, faculty and staff with a UCID can also download materials for their courses. (more info)

NJIT on Facebook

NJIT on Facebook is a separate, private, secure "NJIT only" Facebook app that allows students and student groups to build new NJIT connections and social networks. Visit http://facebook.njit.edu for more information.
