The IST Computing Helpdesk staff members assist faculty, staff, students, alumni and visitors with thousands of technology questions each year. The data collected since 1998 has allowed the Helpdesk staff to identify problem areas and improve processes and documentation. The result is an overall decline in the number of logged problems since 2003.
