1. Launch OUTLOOK EXPRESS.
2. Click the TOOLS menu on the top of the window.
3. Click on ACCOUNTS... from the drop down menu.
4. Click ADD in the "Internet Accounts" window.
5. Select MAIL...

6. In the "Display name:" field type YOUR NAME.
7. Click NEXT.
8. In the "E-mail address:" field type yourUCID@NJIT.EDU.
9. Click NEXT.

10. Select IMAP from the pull down menu.
11. In the "Incoming mail server:" field type MAILHOST.NJIT.EDU.
12. In the "Outgoing mail (SMTP):" field type MAIL.NJIT.EDU.
If you are accessing the Internet via an Internet Service Provider, you must contact them for the "Outgoing mail server" information.
13. Click NEXT.

14. In the "Account name:" field type YOUR UCID.
15. In the "Password:" field type YOUR UCID PASSWORD.
16. Click NEXT.
17. Click FINISH.
18. Click CLOSE to close the "Internet Accounts" window.

Your are now ready to access your e-mail with Outlook Express.
