1. Launch Microsoft Outlook 2003.
2. Click Next on the Outlook Startup screen.
   
   
   
   *Note: If you do not see the above startup screen, click the Tools menu in Outlook and select E-mail Accounts and proceed to Step 4.
   
   
3. Click Next.
   
   
   
   
4. Select IMAP and click Next.
   
   
   
   
   
5. Enter Your Name and yourUCID@njit.edu in the appropriate fields. In the "Incoming mail server (IMAP):" field, enter mailhost.njit.edu. In the "Outgoing mail server (IMAP):" field, enter mail.njit.edu.
   
   *Note: for the "Outgoing mail server (IMAP):" field, enter dormmail-gw.njit.edu if you are in the residence halls.  If you are off-campus, contact your ISP for the "Outgoing mail server" information.
   
   In the "User Name:" field, enter yourUCID and in the "Password:" field, enter yourUCID Password.  Click Next when finished.
   
   
   
   
   
6. Click Finish.
   
   
   

Your are now ready to access your e-mail with Outlook 2003.
