1. Launch NETSCAPE.
2. Click the EDIT menu on the top of the window.
3. Click on PREFERENCES... from the drop down menu.
4. Click the (+) next to MAIL & NEWSGROUPS in the Category window.
5. Click NEWSGROUP SERVERS in the Category window.
6. Click ADD...
7. In the "Server:" field type NEWS.NJIT.EDU.
8. In the "Port:" field type 119.

9. Click OK to close the "Newsgroup Servers Properties" window.

10. Click OK to close the "Preferences" window.

Your are now ready to access Usenet Newsgroups with Netscape.
