All requests for new software must be made at the Instructional Software Request Page, whether it be for lab installation or otherwise. Please discuss your request with your Dean since your Dean will be asked for prioritization & approval of all new software requests.
Before you submit a request for installation of currently licensed software in a lab on campus, you must first follow these steps:
Step 1: Check the Lab Software Installation Request Deadlines listed below to determine if your request can be submitted in time.
Note: These deadlines apply only to requests for installation of software already licensed. The information on deadlines for requests for new software is available at the Instructional Software Request Page.

Step 2: After ensuring you request can be submitted on time, you must then make sure that either:
- NJIT currently has sufficient licenses to install the software in a lab
or
- You have obtained the sufficient licenses to install the software in a lab.
Step 3: Once you have gathered the necessary information as listed above, you may print and complete the Lab Software Request Form and send it to Academic Computing Services, Attn: Lab Software Request via interoffice mail or fax (973.596.2905).
