Two different versions of SAS are available to NJIT Students and Faculty:

1. SAS OnDemand for Academics: "SAS OnDemand for Academics" contains the same features as the "SAS Education Analytical Suite". The difference is that the SAS OnDemand is a cloud based version that does not require downloading.

Faculty: Faculty need to signup for "SAS OnDemand for Academics" and create a class that will be accessed by students. Instructors share a link to that class with their students who then enroll themselves. For more information about "SAS OnDemend for Academics" and instruction how to register your class visit: https://ist.njit.edu/sas-njit/.

Students: Students can either enroll themselves into a course using a link provided by their instructor or register as an independent learner. More information about getting started with "SAS OnDemand" is available at: http://support.sas.com/software/products/ondemand-academics/#s1=2.

2. SAS University Edition "SAS University" is available for use by students and faculty. This version includes Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS/IML, SAS/Access, and SAS/Studio. "University Edition" can be installed on any personal or NJIT owned machine, runs as a virtual machine on your computer, and is accessed via a web browser.
