Ruckus'® music library currently weighs in at over 3 million songs, with new music added every week. All these files are available for immediate download - 100% free and legal. The only requirement is that you must be a current NJIT undergraduate or graduate student. You do not even have to be on the NJIT campus to listen to or download your music. Once you have completed registration with your valid NJIT e-mail address, you have the ability to download new music to your computer from anywhere you have an internet connection. ...And did we mention it's 100% legal and free?

Ruckus® recently added a video service with music videos, action sports, and special interest shows. Also available is a list of trailers for feature films, as well as a selection of student and Indie films.

Social Networking

With the ability to create and share playlists with your friends, Ruckus® blends social networking and a massive and continuously expanding library of free, legal, and safe music downloads. You can create your own personal profile based on what music you enjoy listening to, browse the music tastes of other NJIT students, and make new friends with the same musical interests as yourself. Ruckus Networks, Inc. recognizes the popularity of the Facebook social networking website among today's college students, and provides an application for your Facebook profile. This application shows what’s new at Ruckus.com, NJIT’s Top 10 most-played songs, new albums, national student playlists, and album reviews. Let your friends know you enjoy your music 100% free and legal.

Free, Legal, and Safe

In case you missed it so far, the music you download from Ruckus® is 100% free and legal. Ruckus® has eliminated copyright infringement through its licensing agreements with all of the major international record labels, as well as thousands of independent labels and artists. The files are also 100% virus-free.

Getting Started

Here's how to start listening to Ruckus® music right away!

1. Click here to goto the Ruckus® website.
2. Click on JOIN RUCKUS NOW
3. Fill out the registration form, be sure to use your NJIT e-mail address.
4. Check your NJIT e-mail for the registration information. Follow the steps listed in the e-mail to complete registration.
5. Once that is complete, click here to go to the Ruckus® website again to access the login page.
6. Login with your NJIT e-mail address and the password you created during registration.
7. Download the Ruckus® Player from the website to your computer.
8. Start enjoying 100% free, legal, and safe music and media files!
