The NJIT Information Services and Technology (IST) plan provides full-time faculty members with a "capable computer workstation" appropriate for their work. Generally, this is a current model personal computer, upgraded on an appropriate life-cycle basis.
Faculty members desiring additional equipment will need to purchase it from a grant or other funding sources. Computer requests are made to the Associate Provost's Office by academic department chairs through the office of Academic Computing Services.
