The default e-mail system at NJIT is called Mailhost.  All members of the NJIT community are given an official NJIT e-mail address on this system.  Your e-mail address will be in the form: yourUCID@njit.edu. You can configure Mailhost to automatically forward all of its e-mail to your ADM, Oak or any other account of your choice.

Unless changes are made in your campus directory entry to receive mail elsewhere, official university communications sent to  yourUCID@njit.edu are received on Mailhost.

You can access your Mailhost e-mail anytime by logging into Highlander Pipeline or by visiting http://webmail.njit.edu.  Both of these require your UCID and UCID password as login credentials.  If you prefer to use an e-mail client program such as Outlook Express, Thunderbird, or Netscape Messenger, click here for configuration instructions for using them with Mailhost.

Your Mailhost account will have a storage capacity of 50MB.
