HTCondor

HTCondor

HTCondor is software that uses idle cycles on networked computers to run serial or parallel comoute-intensive jobs. HTCondor is deigned so that it will not interfere with other jobs running on a computer, or with the user experience for someone at the console of a computer on which HTCondor is enabled. HTCondor is well-suited for running many Matlab jobs simultaneously.

HTCondor is currently enabled on the Linux computers in GITC 2315C and 2400. For information on using HTCondor on those computers, see HTCondor on Linux.

HTCondor on Windows is being tested in GITC 2302 and 2305, and is expected to be deployed later this year.
