Public network ports, for use with an Ethernet cable, are located throughout the campus, including all classrooms and conference rooms. Public network ports designated are either a yellow or red RJ45 network jack. You must authenticate to the network using your UCID and UCID password.
To help promote a safe and secure computing environment, computers exhibiting odd and erratic behavior are blocked from accessing the NJIT Network. This includes computers infected with viruses, improper configurations, and unpatched/outdated security vulnerabilities. If you think your PC's MAC address is being blocked, click here.
