NJITDM is the primary Microsoft Windows environment for faculty and staff. Students are in a separate environment called Academic Windows. If you are going to use PCs on campus, you will need your NJITDM account to authenticate as a NJIT faculty/staff member.

When you sign up for an NJITDM account, you will also be given an ADM e-mail account. ADM is the primary faculty/staff e-mail system. ADM is a Microsoft Exchange based e-mail server. Most faculty/staff that use a PC as their primary computer workstation will use ADM for e-mail along with Microsoft Outlook as an e-mail client. ADM also has an easy to use Web access client for reading your e-mail when on the road.

Your UCID will be your NJITDM user name. However, NJITDM passwords are maintained separately from the UCID password. Your NJITDM password and your ADM password will be the same. These two accounts are linked together.
