University Computing Systems (UCS) supports the instructional and research initiatives of the NJIT community by providing: - The environments required to perform advanced computational work;
- General-purpose file space;
- Specialized servers, including database, Web, and high-performance
The elements of these services are: - A single, ubiquitous file system (AFS), identical on all platforms
- Data integrity and security
- Availability of open source and commercial software for advanced scientific, engineering, mathematical, and statistical applications;
- Advanced and high-performance computing resources, both hardware and software; support for all user initiatives in these areas;
- Documentation and user support.
